So well i just finished exams and now all i've done is watch friends all day

so hey guess what. The 360 is getting some things from lost planet 2, like gears of war characters, which will be awesome that and assassins creed 2 dlc is coming out very soon. so anyway, Mass Effect 2's score went down by 1 point to a 96 and has 18 score of 100 and its lowest score is 90, so that game is doing amazing. and Blood Bowl is at a 62 and its highest scare is 77 and lowest score is 40 so yeah its falling on its face but i have tones of stuff to talk about so no after thoughts on any of the games.

well I just want to say that i love doing this. I love video games and i had the hardest semester ever so i can now focus more on this blog, I'll be posting reviews, quick thoughts about video games music and movies. So im really looking forward to doing this.

So in video game news

So first off theres talk about a Mass Effect 2 movie coming out. Which is a bad idea first for a stupid reason, what about mass effect 1 and second because the game is about making your own choices and creating your own experience, i hope they don't do it. second there were some major goof ups last night at xbox love as Mass Effect 2 DLC was sent out to the masses (no pun intended) for free, but has been removed. Also that Fallout MMO that i care little about is still in a legal battle between the 2 developers. Personally I hope Bethesda wins, Fallouts a great idea we don't need it being milked. Also Gamestops are closing, an estimated 400 gamestops are closing. That really doesn't affect me, everyone should buy from the mom and pop stores in there local area, plus the one i go to amazing prices. And last the PS3 has names there motion control device or at least i think, sony registered "The arc" so were all guessing thats its name.

wow its day 2o thats kinda big for me you know i don't know i feel accomplished that and i should be studying for exams but whatever i can take 10 minutes out of my day.

so lets start out buy saying i played virtua fighter 5 today but i'll get into that in a minute. So Mass Effect 2 is coming out in less then a week wow i really can't believe it. I loved the first game so much this one is probably going to be awesome as well.ok but really nothing much happened in then news oh wait, the ps3's motion controller got pushed back to a fall 2010 release, I really can't wait to see what it does. And the shitty games it will make. JUST to get things cleared up, im not saying it'll be shitty im just saying every console has shitty games and adding in a gimmick like motion control only adds to some poor design choice.

Any way virtua fighter 5 then. so lets start from the top i popped the game in and look at my choice of modes. The was no tutorial mode, so i guess i would have to learn the hard was, on to quest mode. so i hit quest mode and it tells me to create a new save file for my character ..... ok, so i do. at this point i stopped to think about what i was doing, I'm creating a file to save all of my information about one character. i guess thats ok. so after a loading screen it asks me to pick an arena. and at this point i was getting annoyed, so i picked the beginners arena, well because i had no idea what the controls were. so then im put in another menu where i get to pick my opponent. so i pick the one with the lowest rank who has a bad win lose ratio. So now im actually playing the game and i quickly learn a is punch B is kick, Y is a stronger punch, X is block, RB is a stronger punch, r trigger is a strong kick, LB is grab and L trigger is evade. well i kicked this guys ass and then i was treated to my victory followed by a message telling me the i had a new challenger. ok. so i fought this one and beat him with some perfect rounds and then...... another challenger. now at this point i was kinda confused at what was happening to me because i was just being thrown into fights without my consent. So at about match 6 i finally lost my first round, but after that i was smooth sailing.So i finally had to put down the controller after my 7th fight, but i finally like got into the grove, and i had a evade, kick to the head, followed bt a finishing grab. so so far i'm really getting into it.

Intro: Hey there so awhile ago, I mean a few years back, I owned and XBOX. And on that console I bought my first burnout game. It was the cat’s meow and I fell in love with the series but the next game to come out, Which was burnout Paradise City, I thought was a below average game. I bought this game before Christmas to play so I wouldn’t get bored waiting for Borderlands to come out and well its so nice to be playing Burnout Revenge again, and this time in HD.

PRESENTATION: 7/10

Story1/3: Basic story line

overview 3/3:Game runs super smooth

Features 3/4: Has Everything but incentive to replay

Story: So the story of Burnout Revenge is very bare bones. Basically your trying to become the elite rank by racing through various levels and difficulties.

Setting: You race over allot of courses that have about 6 variations each, they range from Rome, Tokyo, and many parts of L.A.

Characters: No character. Sorry.

Overview: The game runs very smoothly and I never saw slowdown and the game never crashed. The menus are very easy to use and are never confusing.

Features: This game has everything from online to same console but it has no incentive for replay value, but for collectors it has a series of challenges to earn new cars.

GRAPHICS: 9/10

details 2/2: Great Detail

texture 2/2: Affective textures

overall 3/4: Good overall nothing that’s amazing but when your going fast you forget about it

art style 2/2: The art style is nothing new but it works.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are beautiful. First off lets talk about the menus, their all done very nicely and have good detail. So now this is a racing game, and just so everyone knows the cars look fantastic and the damage modeling looks very nice but all the damage seems to just end up looking them same. But what really matters is that when your going super fast everything is zipping by you and it looks amazing.

Art style: the art style takes a realistic tone and provides to the game every allyway feels dark and small, but the highways open up to great lighting and huge roads.

SOUND 8/10

sounds 4/4: Everything fits and its immersive

voice acting 1/3: Basically non

music 3/3: Comeback kid, just awesome sound track

Sound: The sound effects in the game are really well done. Your car always makes the appropriate sound and at high speeds your really feel like your going fast. With every crunch of metal to your tires squeaking the game has the sounds down and it really immerses you in the game

Music: Featuring the likes of Apacolypica, Ok Go, Emanuel, Funeral For a Friend, and last but not least one of my favorite bands Comeback Kid, this game has a great sound track.

Voice acting: Next to no voice acting only some woman who tells you how your now playing in HD

GAMEPLAY: 8/10

Controls 3/3: Perfect and fluent

Campaign 3/5: Long, but repetitive

A.I. 2/2: Good and they evolve

Controls: There are no awkward button presses and everything works within a split second of being pressed, which is good for this kind of game. The controller is used perfect in this game making it enjoyable to play.

Campaign: When you start up the game you need to pick a save file and it places in the rank of harmless. As you play through the game you get stars based on how you do in the race and what metal you get. So once you select your race out of a couple selections like race, traffic attack and elimination (and there is more race types them thos). They you pick from one of your two starting slow cars. When you hit the streets you start with no boost and your goal is to crash your opponents. Every car you crash you get full boost and the more boost the faster you go and then well your going 160 mph through tight streets. At the end your rewarded your stars and given new challenges and maybe a new car. As you progress the cars gets faster and the enemies get more and more aggressive. The pacing is good and it’s a good length for a video game but the formula is very repetitive.

A.I.: Theirs no friendly A.I. but the enemies are very aggressive and they learn how to get you. That’s all I can really say about the A.I. its just there.

REPLAY VALUE: 8/10

difficulty settings/multiple playthroughs 1/2: No multiple playthroughs

fun 4/5: Amazingly fun and very addicting.

Multiplayer: Has online and split screen

Replay value: The game has very little incentive to play again.

Difficulty: This game has a progressive difficulty, but what it really is, is that the cars go faster and you can’t use your older cars. I feel that at points the game is just unfair and the difficulty curve shoots up then dips. And the learning curve is small

Fun: This game does one thing really well, it is so much fun, you forget about all the flaws when you zooming through city streets in your amazingly fast car.

Recommendation: I recommend this game for everyone. I feel that this game needs to be tried at least once just because it’s a rush and its cheap now. A great game for everyone.

Lets talk Darkvoid. So the demo for darkvoid came out a week ago and i just got my ands on it this morning. so lets start. you begin in a cave watching this cut scene which can be skipped, i really have no idea whats going on, so after your on a cliff and you need to learn how to fly. first time trying to take off i flew into the side of a mountain multiple times but then i got it. so im not gong to bore you with the flying, but i did have one problem with the controls. Why is y speed up and x break couldn't they have made the right stick do that. so when i finally get into some combat in the air the game really picked up and i was having a blast. and i found that after a minute and a death later that the controls arn't that hard. on ground the combat is like gears of war but clunkyer and the enemies take forever to kill. but i really can't wait to try out the finished product.

sorry everyone this week has been super hard for me. anyway so army of two is winning in the ratings with an overall average of 75% which is pretty good and serious sam hd got a 71% and finally the winter olympics game got a 64% so yeah good job army of two.

so i really can't wait to play Bayonetta, but i know that'll be a long time and army of two the 40th day. but anyway i saw the new trailer for the new re5 edition and it looks so amazing i can't wait to play it. so im just going to head downstairs to play some borderlands and maybe finish burnout revenge

Sorry no burnout revenge yet. whatever i guess u know. but i did play madden 2004 at my best friends house, man that game is awesome. but anyway, theres a new DS coming out. whats that like the 5 one.....so lets get this straight the ds has been around shorter then a 360 and i think just a bit longer then a wii. not wait its been out for awhile i think it was defiantly during the xbox ps2 and gamecube thing but i don't know if the 360 was out yet. ok but my point is is that there is like 5 models out for that thing now wtf. i would be so pissed if i got the original version. but yeah totally stupid.

So Bayonetta is doing very well and is getting great reviews from everyone which is always good for the game and Darksiders can't complain bt its not setting the world one fire but its doing well. and that matt hazard game that just came out has a good review up on ign apparently, I haven't seen it but thats good i liked the concept of Matt Hazard even if eat lead sucked so hard. And last but not least divinity 2 is doing pretty bad to be honest it has an average of about 66 on metacritic

well well well games came out today bayonetta seems to be doing amazing and i can't wait to play it but god know that'll be a long time ( i have a list its big) and darksiders seems to be doing ok good but not bayonnetta good..... but i hope more games like darksiders come out. if the game is any good which i don't know. but anyway i have herd nothing of that divinity 2 game tho.... weird. any way theat new matt hazard game is coming out tomorrow and it looks like shadow complex like exactly like shadow complex, is that good or bad? well only tomorrow will tell wont it

anyway tuesdays and thursdays are game de-tox so nothing new there. Well actually im almost done burnout revenge and there will be a review up for that soon. i bought burnout just before christmas and i got borderlands for christmas and i haven't been able to stop playing it. but yeah im almost done burnout.

Borderlands review

Hey guys its nice to see someone takes time to read what people think. this is just and intro to my reviews, i break the game up into many parts so if your looking for some info just quickly go to what you wanted to see. Also I will not be talking about the online multiplayer because I find XBOX live just isn’t as fun as playing with a friend but, don’t worry the game will still get 2 point on the replay value if it includes live. LOOK NOT FOR COMPARISONS HERE, I hate it when games are compared to other games so I will not compare this game to any other game except in my game intro or my ending but thoughts will not affect its score. Just one thought before I just in to this, I play games for entertainment and I love games the score of this review will be based on the information below please note that I have put allot of thought into this review and if you are seriously thinking about buying the game read the recommendation

Intro: So whats up guys, i've seen they've hidden the reader reviews so thats just fucking great anyway just a little bit about me and this game. I got Borderlands for christmas and wow does this game kick so much ass i love it so so much, its a great game. I've already beaten it twice and downloaded the DLC for it and i can't stop playing. Its great to see something unique out there, but anyway on to the review

Presentation: 8/10

Story: good story not amazing but good 2/3

Story:So in Borderlands you play as a vault hunter as you hunt for the lost vault which can only be opened every 200 years. sounds really good and it is actually really good there were allot of side quests that actually had nothing to do with the overall story but i never felt lost in it, but the problem I have with the story is about 3 hours near the end it says FUCK IT and throws the questing out of the window and leads you through an extremely linear path. Ok so now the ending as i said earlier i beat this game twice and the first time (not to ruin anything) I was fucking pissed at the end. But if you pay more attention to the story it gives an explanation as too why it happens its a sequel ending which personally is very welcome because this game owns

Setting. Pandora is an amazing place. At first glance it looks like your average desert planet but after you explore you start to really see amazing things like the ancient artifacts, and old heaven. oh and the level to the vault is pretty amazing. the world seems so small at the beginning but after you hit the quick travel system the world really opens up which is pretty good but it starts to feel empty, what i really wanted to see was a NPC fight somewhere.

Characters: The characters really carry the story in this game especially Marcus the bus driver and story owner and the Claptraps. The game is very well written and very funny, but i see the comedy more in the zombie island DLC more. but other then the key characters no one really talks to you and they make the world seem sort of ghostly. Overview: Slow down, texture pop in, and invisible walls. This game has everything. well honestly its kind of a big problem especially during big fights but its nothing that will ruin the game, it really just need to be polished mire which is disappointing. Features: This game has 4 characters to play with which is already a big plus because it makes you want to try everything. It also encourages multiple playthroughs because you can't reach level 50 in the first play through. Also this game has all three multiplayer modes live, split screen and system link.

Graphics:7/10

Detail: 2/2 beautiful cell shading with the character models

textures: 0/2 i'm sorry im not a graphics whore but up close the textures are really bad

art style: 2/2 cell shading FTW overall graphics:3/4 ugly textures but the cell shading makes up for it.

Graphics: When the textures not popping in this game looks very nice but i keep getting the feeling that the cell shading is just to hid the close detail. the guns look really good but the textures are pretty bad to be honest but the enemies, characters, guns , and gore look really really good.

Art style: CELL SHADING HOLY FUCK, awesome i love cell shading and this really brings it to somewhere where i have never seen it done like what crackdown did i think it was a great move and it looks good and it really fits with the games goofy nature, its a breath of fresh air to e honest.

Sound 7/10

sound: 3/4 nothing really put of place sound amazing

music: 2/3 it fits and this shit is awesome voice acting: 2/3 good but not over amazing

Sound: The guns sound perfect especially the eridian guns they just all sound powerful and it works, the enemies sound good and when its all quiet you can hear them coming for you and the hissing noise when you open a chest. just awesome. theirs really nothing that sounds out of place in the game hats off to the sound designer.

Music: Its kind of hard to call the music because it fits so well you never noticing it. it just fits but when you do listen it picks up when it needs to and the tunes are so rocking.

Voice acting: all the voice acting is over the top like it should be in this story and really enjoyed what was there and it was good

Game play 11/10

Controls: 3/3 nothing is awkward in this game and its really fluent

Campaign: 6/5 This campaign has so much its bursting at the wazzo the campaign took me over like 20 hours to do everything and get tones of loot and that was only one play through.

A.I.: 2/2 the A.I. is amazing in this game

Gameplay: ............... millions of guns. ok so lets start with these guns. There are so many guns in this game, and the game designers put their own twists on their guns, like a russian sniper, yeah its in there it doesn't look like it but its called, i dont remember but its one of the WW2 weapons. so the guns level up when you leveling up, and the guns have different clips and different zoom and fire rates and elemental damage. and theirs also tones of different grenade mods and theres even grenades that heal you its awesome. so now leveling up, you gain tones of experience and its really fun to decide how you level up and what powers your going to get. now in the game their is a solder, berserker, siren and hunter, and every character has their own abilities. questing is a big parrt of the game to because your constantly getting new quests to go along with your level. the game really is so unique and i know i dont make comparison but the really is one of the first rps' that really works. And the controls are so amazing their really easy to pick up and play its great fun.

Campaign: um i actually wrote the campaign in the controls sections lmao sorry guys.

A.I.: the a.i. in this game is really good in this game. Now you really need to look at the enemies in this game. An example the animals act like animals and they try to relentlessly mall you to death and the bandits go ape shit and try to kill you at all costs, and the heavy armored soldiers try to kill and take cover and fall back. Actually i don't know what i've been playing but i feel like the a.i. is really good in this game

Replay value: 11/10

multiplayer/split screen: 3/3 has all multiplayer mods

difficulty settings/multiple playthroughs: 3/2 This extra point really belongs here because it does go above and beyond.

Fun: 5/5

Multiplayer: The game is actually based around multiplayer and it shows it has split screen and 4 player online.

Difficulty: The game might not have a difficulty setting but the way you level up really fit and the game does get harder when you level up, and if you don't upgrade you will die. the only way you should die is if your a low level and trust me i beat the game with my friend and he only did the main quests and we got owned.

Fun: personally this game is awesome, and i can't stop playing this game its a perfect blend.

Replay value: i'll say again at least 8 play thoughs to get level 50 with every class AND every class has 3 different sub classes.

RECOMMENDATION: so i gave this game some extra points but its trying something new and its going above and beyond its awesome and if you think you will like this game BUY IT don't rent it, buy it, if you like FPS buy it, if you like leveling up, BUY IT and if you love looting BUY IT this game will have a sequel and i hope they'll fix everything

Well i've downloaded 3 demos well actually 5 but u know whatever. so the first is vancouver 2010 and it was really fun but i can't see myself playing it, but i think anyone should try the demo. the second is the Divinity 2: Ego Draconis and that demo was weird the combat is good but the stories really corny but i'm defiantly giving this a try. and the last is dante's inferno which was cool but the demo dragged on and it was only like 10 minutes which is the problem and i'm worried about the final game. ok so i need to bring my friend with the broken foot over so i can play the army of two the 40th day and have someone to laugh at the indiana jones 2 demo.

I am right now playing borderlands and im almost done the game and after im done the game i'll place my first review on this blog and it'll be good. but im playing as a hunter and im level 35 and i'm almost done the game im almost at the vault and im so hyped to see it so i'll be done tomorrow. and the review will be up like maybe friday and it will be in another blog.

So im jordan, i'm here to talk about what i love, video games and music. so since this is day one i'll tell your what im planning to do. everyday at about nine i'll log on and post something about the news or anything i can find maybe put something funny i don't know. i'll also tell everyone what im playing and put reviews up for video games. since i love music i'll talk about music just a bit tho because most of the music will come in the form of the song of the day. so today was just a little intro. i'll also have a list of the song of the day and a list of games in my library at the time and once i start reviewing a list of games i've played plus their scores i give them. if you like it you can follow me on twitter where i'll be posting everything i do related to videogames and music ok. well i'll leave you guy with the song of the day
